Stream Creation & Exit Fees

• To create a stream on Osmosis, a one-time stream creation fee is required. The fee depends on the token you're accepting for bootstrapping:

  • 300 OSMO for streams using USDC

  • 3000 OSMO for streams using ATOM, OSMO, or other supported tokens

Make sure you have the required OSMO in your wallet when creating the stream —      this fee is paid during transaction approval.

• Additionally, a 4.2% exit fee is applied only to the stream creator at the end of the stream. This fee is taken from the total subscription tokens collected (e.g., USDC, ATOM, OSMO) and helps fund ongoing development, security, and ecosystem growth.

• There are zero fees for subscribers: Capital contributors participate without deductions — while creators pay only if value is raised.

🛠️ How to launch your own StreamSwap Stream

Launching a token via StreamSwap is now as easy as it gets:

Step 1 - Create Stream

Go to StreamSwap.io and click on the ‘Create’ tab.

Step 2 - Stream Info

Configure your stream by selecting the tokens & setting the duration of the stream.

• Token to Stream – Select the token you’re launching and input the number of tokens you're putting up for streaming.

• Token to Swap – Choose the token your community will use to participate (currently can only be selected between USDC, ATOM & OSMO)

• Set Bootstrapping & Streaming Phase timelines – These determine when your community can start subscribing to the stream and when the tokens will be streaming & swapping between both pools.

  • Bootstrapping Phase is the duration where subscribers can subscribe to the stream but there is no swapping that occurs during this phase. This is a window for everyone to participate. Subscribers are free to withdraw whatever they subscribed with at any point in time.

  • Streaming Phase is the duration when the swapping of tokens happens. This is the phase where all subscribed tokens get spent over a period of time (for as long as the Streaming Phase lasts). Subscribers are free to withdraw whatever they subscribed with at any point in time.

• Treasury Address – Where all bootstrapped tokens will be sent after the stream ends. Best for this address to be the same as the stream creation address.

  • NOTE: The Treasury Address is the account that can claim the proceeds from the stream by clicking the Finalize Stream button on the stream single page - after the Streaming Phase is completed.

Step 3 - Add all other details

• Add your website, tokenomics, and social links so your community can find and share everything easily.

Upload a Stream Banner

• Make it yours — give your stream a visual identity with a custom banner

Step 5

Review & Create

• Double-check all details, click ‘Create Stream’, approve the transaction in your wallet — and you’re LIVE.

• Note: A one time fee of OSMO will be charged to your wallet to create the stream

Step 6

• View your stream on the dashboard, share the link with your community and let the stream begin.
