Good afternoon! It's been a while since my last entry. Unfortunately, sleep hasn't been my friend lately. For the past few weeks, I've fallen asleep very late and woken up even later. I decided to break the cycle and force myself to wake up early this morning, despite going to bed late again. Even though I was in bed at a reasonable hour, my body rebelled – hours of tossing and turning! I even tried taking a walk to clear my head.
Today's topic: online communities. There are interesting parallels between online interactions and our real-life social circles, with anonymity being the key difference. Regardless, many of the same factors contribute to a healthy community.Frequency, for example, is important. Just like I greet and chat with my neighbors regularly, I also participate actively in online chat groups. In both online and offline settings, I strive to be polite and respectful. Many online communities I frequent have a certain level of decorum in their language.
However, the internet also has its darker corners. Some online spaces are filled with profanity, graphic content, and a constant barrage of negativity. While I wouldn't say this is representative of most cryptocurrency communities, there's definitely a subsect that embraces negativity and even uses offensive language to boast.
On a brighter note, I made some progress on my stickers today! I learned that plain black text without an outline gets lost when posted online. The solution? Changing the font color, adding an outline, or using a drop shadow effect. In my case, I opted for a new color and a cool effect.
That's all for today. As always, I'll leave you with another one of my homemade memes.
