Proper Good Vibes Pty Ltd is a First Nations owned company that have acted on it’s own omission to attempt to protect and make safe a public area that is accessed via a gazetted road through our property that we are leasing whilst we are in the process of finalising the acquisition. We now find it necessary to make a statement that Yuwi Aboriginal Corporation were not involved in any way in the decision making process nor have they endorsed our actions to make safe the area known as Cameron’s Pocket Swimming Hole. We regret that this situation has escalated to this point prior to having the opportunity to sit together and discuss an appropriate action plan for the safety of the public and the environment.
We reiterate that our actions and decisions were of our own omission and not endorsed by Yuwi Aboriginal Corporation and that they have requested that we set the public record straight and declare that they have had no involvement in this situation.
We have requested their endorsement not just regarding this but also our future plans moving forward, unfortunately this all got taken out of context and control so fast that there was no time to meet and sit together to build a relationship. We hope that in the near future we will be working together to help resolve these sorts of issues.
