LXDAO is an R&D-focused DAO in Web3 ❤️
Website | Twitter | Telegram | Forum
Dear LXDAO community friends! Welcome to our 128th weekly report.
1. Welcome New Friends
-
TG: Hello everyone, I'm TG. Three years ago, I was introduced to Web3 through a friend and joined BanklessCN, where I mainly worked on some basic tasks, such as participating in translation projects for Arbitrum and OP. However, due to compensation and other issues, the projects were unable to continue smoothly. After that, I took a break from deeper involvement in related activities until a friend recommended me to join the LXDAO community. I hope to explore more possibilities in this field and improve my programming skills, as my technical level still needs enhancement. I hope this opportunity will help me find the right direction for myself.
-
Echo: Hello everyone, I'm Echo. I officially entered this space this year, so I'm relatively new. Before that, around 2019, I worked on development projects with some partners and developed an interest in related financial knowledge. Although I was just starting with development and still at a basic level, I gradually gained more understanding of the financial field. Through further exploration, I hope to learn more about the specifics of this industry and its technological developments, especially the applications of DAO.
-
Alex: I'm Alex, a product manager. I've been in the blockchain industry for some time, starting in 2018, where I accumulated experience at several companies in the industry. During this time, I participated in areas such as DeFi and recently attended Devcon, as well as participated in LXDAO activities. Although I have a relatively deep understanding of the blockchain industry and its related products, I still lack hands-on experience with DAOs, so I hope to dive deeper into this field. I can also offer some insights and share experiences regarding blockchain products and industry information. Currently, I work at Chainfeeds.
We are delighted to have new friends join the community, congratulations on them officially becoming members of the LXDAO community and obtaining their first Badge!
Once a community member’s contribution reaches 500 contribution points, the Governance Group will automatically initiate a proposal for the issuance of a Buidler Card. Holding an LXDAO Buidler Card grants the holder the right to propose and vote on proposals, as well as access to LXDAO community’s financial, technical, and manpower support!

Here are the key discussion topic for this week's LXDAO weekly meeting:
[S11 Working Group Leader Rotation Announcement]
As the S10 quarter of the community is coming to an end, the governance group has released a voting announcement on the forum regarding the rotation of S10 working group PMs. The announcement includes the re-election proposals for Governance Group Leader Punkcan, Forge Group Leader Marcus, and Operations Group Leader Soleil. If the opposition votes are below 20%, the rotation decision will be implemented.
[My First Web3 Project Roadmap Discussion]
Noiii has posted an initial project concept for the restart of the "My First" series on the forum. The proposal aims to promote Web3 education by addressing issues such as high entry barriers, fragmented information, and insufficient practical application. The project plans to reduce the learning threshold by offering engaging foundational content aimed at a broad Web2 user base and beginners. It will incorporate gamified elements (e.g., "hatching crypto eggs") to enhance user participation and interactivity. Users can earn NFTs by completing tasks, progressively improving their knowledge of Web3. Additionally, the project will integrate MyFirst sub-projects and LXDAO community resources to offer practical opportunities, helping users transition from learning to real-world application, ultimately enabling Web2 users to become Web3-native users and promoting the widespread development of Web3 education. At the end of the discussion, a key question was raised: should the educational content itself be gamified, or should the entire learning and incentive mechanism be gamified? Further exploration is needed. Interested individuals are welcome to join the discussion on the forum and the TG channel: https://t.me/LXDAO/3255
