Born and raised as an only child in the affluent suburbs of New Miami City, Nina Perez grew up in a nurturing environment where her parents fostered her gifts and always supported her wildest dreams. Despite her solitary upbringing, she excelled in her studies and pursued her passions as a Fashion Photographer-Journalist with unwavering determination.

However, tragedy struck when The Phenomenon ravaged the city, claiming the life of her father along with many others. Left vulnerable and grieving, Nina and her mother faced further turmoil when bounty hunters arrived, seeking young individuals with supernatural abilities granted by The Phenomenon. It was during this chaos that Nina discovered her own powers — the ability to manipulate water and create water constructs.

The situation escalated when the bounty hunters targeted Nina, intent on capturing her. In a desperate bid to protect her mom, she tapped into her newfound abilities and fought back against the intruders. In a whirlwind of rage, Nina overcame them but witnessed her mother's gruesome murder in the process.

Fleeing into hiding to escape the grasp of those who sought to exploit her, Nina embarked on a journey of survival and self-discovery. It was during this tumultuous time that Nina was approached by Vector, the leader of The Renegades, and recruited to join their cause. Driven by a deep-seated desire for justice for her mother, she readily embraced her new role as a member of The Renegades.

Now known as Pearl, she exudes confidence and style, always riding her own wave and making a splash in everything she does. In her free time, she finds solace in surfing the web and riding waves, a reflection of her love for both technology and the ocean.

Despite the challenges she faces, including her vulnerability to electricity, Pearl tackles each obstacle with resilience and tenacity. Her journey from a vulnerable victim of tragedy to a fierce member of The Renegades highlights her unwavering commitment to using her powers to fight G.E.N. Corp’s plan for global dominance, no matter the odds stacked against her.

ABILITIES:

• Water Manipulation: Pearl can manipulate water, allowing her to control its flow, shape, and density. She can also create water constructs for various purposes.

• Constructs: The ability to create solid structures out of water, enabling her to form barriers, weapons and platforms as needed.

• Hydrokinesis: She possesses hydro-kinetic abilities, allowing her to control other forms of liquid, such as ice or steam. This expands her versatility in combat.

• Water Healing: Harnesses water’s rejuvenating properties to heal minor injuries, both to herself and others. While not as potent as dedicated healing powers, this ability allows her to provide immediate aid in emergency situations.

• Hydroportation: Can teleport short distances by transforming into water and re-materializing at another location where water is present, enabling her to quickly maneuver through obstacles or escape dangerous situations.
