Stroom Network introduces a Bitcoin Liquid Staking protocol, enabling users to earn routing fees on the Lightning Network (LN) by staking their BTC.

Beyond offering diverse yield options within the DeFi ecosystem, Stroom's groundbreaking innovation lies in its proposition of earning native Bitcoin yield derived from its utility as a payment method.

Before You Begin: To start, ensure you have:

• A Testnet Bitcoin wallet

• A MetaMask wallet with Sepolia testnet enabled

• Twitter and Discord accounts

How to Participate:

1. Visit Stroom's website: https://stroom.network/

2. Once the testnet is live, join via the button on the website or follow announcements on Twitter.

3. Stay engaged as more activities will be rolled out during the testnet.

Acquiring Testnet BTC: Set up a Bitcoin wallet supporting Testnet Bitcoin and acquire testnet BTC either through Discord faucet or other available faucets.

Getting Sepolia ETH: Utilize MetaMask wallet and visit Sepolia faucets to obtain Sepolia ETH for transaction confirmations.

How to Stake:

1. Follow Stroom's Twitter account and join Discord.

2. Connect your wallet via the provided link.

3. Mint/stake your BTC or bstBTC tokens by following the instructions on the platform.

How to Unstake:

Redeem your staked tokens by specifying the amount and destination BTC address in the Redeem section.

Bug Submission: Report any encountered bugs through the provided bug submission form.
