On May 28, 2025, I’m sitting here, having just finished a ZenChain mini-game called "Duck Race," while reflecting on my journey with this project. From someone who only cared about airdrops, I’ve become a true believer in ZenChain’s potential—a bold Layer 1 blockchain that combines Bitcoin’s security with Ethereum’s programmability. Let me share my story with you:
Day One: "Just an Airdrop Hunter !"
I first learned about ZenChain through a YouTube post in February 2025. The channel posted an intriguing line: “ZenChain - The Meditation Network for Earning Airdrop Money,” along with the chance to earn $ZCX—the future reward token. As an “airdrop hunter,” I thought, “Oh, another project to farm tokens! Let’s give it a shot, nothing to lose.”
I headed to ZenChain Quests, connected my OKX wallet, and started doing simple tasks: joining Discord, following on X, sharing referral links, and earning roles on Discord. Each task gave me a bit of XP—points that would determine my $ZCX rewards later. At the time, I didn’t care much about the tech or the project’s vision. My only thought was: “More XP, more tokens. Done, then sell, and grab some coffee money!”
Week Two: Meeting and Bonding
After a few days of joining Discord and doing quests, I started getting curious about ZenChain. I ran into some issues, so I asked for help in the chat channels, and the community stepped in to guide me through. They suggested I learn more about ZenChain to participate in quizzes or Discord games. That’s when I began digging into what ZenChain was really about, and I realized it wasn’t just another “airdrop promise” project. They were building a Layer 1 blockchain aimed at solving the cross-chain interoperability problem—a challenge that many big projects are still struggling with.

By March, I had completed several tasks on ZenChain Quests. I climbed to the top 2000 on the leaderboard, with nearly 5,000 XP. But what surprised me wasn’t my XP count—it was the ZenChain community. On Discord, I met other users who weren’t just farming airdrops like me; they genuinely believed in the project’s vision. I had so many fun experiences with them—from chatting about the project and real-life stuff to guiding each other on how to complete tasks for ZXP. We spent time playing mini-games or intense poker matches, all with the goal of earning as much ZXP as possible to maximize our chances of getting a big airdrop.
Today: "I Believe ZenChain Will Succeed!"
Now, after three months of participating in the testnet, I truly believe in their vision: a blockchain where Bitcoin and Ethereum are no longer separate worlds but can merge to create groundbreaking DeFi and NFT applications. I love how they integrate AI to detect security threats in real-time and how they use the ZIP-20 token standard to manage cross-chain assets efficiently. I also want to thank the team and my friends on the Discord channel for giving me such an exciting time—both exploring and connecting.
